Water’s Edge which is located right on the shoreline at our Sea Sanctuary HQ, giving us the opportunity to extend our programme. We can now offer Creative Workshops embracing natural resources found on local beaches and items from our rich metaliferous heritage and allow our imaginations full reign in the comfort of our studio. The location is inspiring, perched above the water with the constant fluctuations ‘ebb and flow’ of a tidal estuary where swans glide by en-route to new feeding grounds and an array of boats pass merrily by…providing a constant and ever changing backdrop to stimulate the mind.
The wide expanse of decking is an ideal perch from which to paint, mould and sculpt or merely sit, relax and ease the stressful mind. On sunny days our Mindfulness therapeutic workshops are held out of doors and bring a sense of serenity and peace, reducing stress and anxiety.

“I really enjoy art and would like to be more of an artistic person but I have very limited skills. I failed GCSE art but still love it and have since tried to get onto a foundation course, my ultimate dream is to do a part-time foundation course at Pool or Falmouth University. I never do any Art at home but these Art classes push me and help me be more creative, I’m filling my sketch book and am enjoying myself. I enjoy using new materials for different types of drawings. I love it. I could of gone surfing today and I have turned it down to do the art class.” Quote from a client-sailor.
